Simmo tested a Van Diemen Formula Ford today (15/09/05) at Wakefield Park near Goulburn. After some difficulty getting comfortable in the morning it all turned to Simmo's zone after lunch. Being comfortable in a racing car is of utmost importance, today was a perfect example of this. Once Simmo got comfortable in the car the times started to fall, so low in fact they were beyond everyone’s expectations, even Simmo's believe it or not for those of you who know him. Tim Beale of Anglo Motor sport had no one to compare Simmo's data after a session than that of Marcus Ambrose's. Stay tuned for more info and some pics from the test. |
